Pilot Project for
Online Training & Assessment

Only here listed members can use online options. We all work together on the further development and on Guidelines, before it will be part of our standard curricula.

If you intend to offer and seal online trainings, please write in the comment area at the end of this website how you plan or conduct online trainings (incl. assessment) and send an email to Online-Commission@IN-ICI.net
After a reasonable explanation of your online approach and your written agreement of the Pilot Project Conditions below, the commission will send you a confirmation. Then you will be listed in the following paragraph and it will be stated in your Master Trainer profile that you are entitled to seal online trainings with us. Please keep your comment updated whenever anything changes or whenever you have additional best practice recommendations.

All who have the permission evaluate together the use of up to 100% live interactive online training (e.g.: Zoom with Breakout Groups and Moodle) and up to 20% well justified non-interactive online training (e.g.: DVDs, Moodle,... with assessment), and the coresponding training assessment.

We discussed this at our World Congress in Tunis, 22. Feb. 2019, and at our 3 days Paris-Online Master Trainer Meeting 11-13 Aug. 2020
We are still in the process of discussing binding regulations for the assessment. The commission has as well accepted 2 special projects from Fernando Gil SanguinetiFernando Gil Sanllehí from Peru and from Karl Nielsen from Berlin.

1. Pilot Project Conditions

It is only accepted to use up to 100% interactive live online training or up to 20% non-interactive online training, instead of on-site face to face training for IN, ICI, WHO, WSCO, In-Me, or PosPsy Master Trainers who:

  1. are listed here on this website by the Online Training Commission in the above paragraph.

  2. who agree to inform all members of this Online Training Commission, before they start with the online training, about:
    a) the qualification that they teach in how much % online instead of on-site face to face
    b) the selected content that they teach in which online form instead of on-site face to face
    b) how they do it (e.g.: Zoom, online platform like Moodle,...)
    c) how exactly they evaluate, assess, and ensure that their participants have learned the required content
    d) that they will inform at the end of their training in written form the others about their best practice recommendations

  3. use on their certificates the sentence:
The training comprised of … hours in … days on-site face to face training, plus … hours in ... days interactive live online training, plus ... hours in ... days non-interactive online training, from … to …, in strict accordance with the high ethics and quality standards of the International Association of NLP Institutes (IN).
Entrance Qualification: 130 hours / 18 days “NLP Practitioner, IN”
    -->
you list only the mixture that you use
--> you use the correct association: ICI, WHO, WSCO, In-Me, PosPsy
--> If your certified qualification requires an entry qualification, then we highly recommend to include this info in an extra line so that the real amount of hours and days of qualifying training of the sealed new qualification is visible on the certificate, e.g. on a “NLP Master, IN” certificate with 130 hours in 18 days the following line is recommended: Entrance Qualification: 130 hours / 18 days “NLP Practitioner, IN”
--> Please note, that you can chose to use our prepared sealed certificates for this in your login area when you buy seals.

To receive the allowance to conduct and seal up to 100% interactive online trainings or up to 20% non-interactive online trainings, a Master Trainer needs to share and update his online approach in the comment area at the end of this website and send an email to the Online Commission where he abides to the Pilot Project Condition stated above. After approval the Online Commission will send a confirmation email and list the Master Trainer on this website here.
This approach with being listed here, and the agreement of sharing info and best practice, is important for us to ensure the quality development. It is part of our philosophy to learn from each other and with each other.

2. Recommendations

We highly recommend to use Zoom with Breakout Groups or similar video conferencing software with Breakout Groups. In the Breakout Groups people meet in small groups to carry out the group tasks that you gave them. And when they come back from their Breakout Group you discuss with them their experience and questions just like you do it in on-site face to face live trainings. And you as the Master Trainer (or assistence resource trainer) can visit each of the Breakout Groups and see how they are doing.
Here a 33 Minutes explanation of Zoom and Breakout Groups: www.youtube.com/watch?v=6i-NA563Ojk
Here the 4 minutes explanation from Zoom about Breakout Groups: www.youtube.com/watch?v=jbPpdyn16sY

We highly recommend to use a Learning Platform like Moodle in the background for your Zoom online trainings. This way you can always switch your Zoom to the Learning Platform where you can show your participants the content of your training just like you show this in on-side face to face trainings through your flipcharts or PowerPoint.
If you want to have an individual teaching platform for yourself (with moodle, like this:
https://moodle.ucn-berlin.de/) please contact admin@in-ici.net . His offer for such a service is here: https://drnielsen.de/storage/Moodle.pdf
